About Me

Born and raised in Jacksonville Florida, I am a proud graduate of the illustrious North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering in the fall of 2024. AGGIE PRIDE!!!

Why Electrical Engineering?

From a young age, I’ve always been curious about how the world works and the innovations that shape our lives. Questions like "How do planes fly?" and "What enables the technology behind the devices we use daily?" sparked my fascination with science and engineering.

As a child, I spent countless hours coding and creating on platforms like Roblox, bringing my imagination to life with LEGO creations and building small devices powered by Arduino. These experiences fueled my love for technology and electronics and gave me a hands-on understanding of how creative ideas can be brought to life. Coupled with my strengths in Physics and Mathematics, these passions made it clear that electrical engineering was my true calling. Engineering offers a path to understanding the world and changing it for the better—and that’s the journey I am committed to.

Why North Carolina A&T University?

I chose North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCAT) for its exceptional engineering program and the opportunity to attend a Historically Black College and University (HBCU). NCAT’s strong academic focus on engineering, combined with a supportive environment that celebrates Black excellence, made it the perfect place to pursue my passion for electrical engineering.

Attending an HBCU has allowed me to surround myself with inspiring mentors and peers, fostering both personal and professional growth. Additionally, the university offers valuable funding opportunities for STEM students, helping me focus on my education without financial worries.
